Animal Jam - (Parties) - The Leap Year Party 2016

     I'm going to be honest, I've been waiting so long for this party. It only occurs every 4 years! In 2012, this party was filled with rares such as the Rare Worn and the Rare Beard. However, in this one, it is not. As disappointed as one may be, it's just what it is. This party is themed around frogs since they leap. 

     This party is based around the Treehouse Den and is not very appealing in appearance. It has a simple design with minimal effects added (which is kinda sad). 

     The first floor of this party isn't as well designed as the other parties. The furniture you can buy here is far from good and looks kind of ugly in my opinion. 

      As you can see, you can only buy 6 items, and only 1 is non-member. The items are not worth paying for, though. The design is bland with only the slightest of effort put into them. 

     The second floor is better designed but still can't compare to any of the other parties. You can buy clothes but, again, they're not incredibly fancy or extravagant. 

     You can buy the 'Furry Fox Hat,' which is just another version of the Fox Hat with different colours. Again, you can only buy 6 items, but they don't even look that nice. 

     The third floor is quite tasteless too. I just don't get any feel or vibe to it, yenno what I'm sayin'? 

     Then, there's a super long slide to slide down from the horror of it all (just kidding, just kidding). All in all, it's not a well designed party and needs some revamping. 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - Chinese New Year Party

     AJHQ has released a party I never really thought they'd release: The Chinese New Year Party! Chinese New Year is also the Lunar New Year (no, it's not all revolved around Chinese people. Don't worry, you'll get your lucky money though). The party is overall pretty good and well-designed. It does bring a sense of Chinese culture. 

  

     The shop here doesn't have many items, which is kind of sad. I was expecting things like Chinese sculptures, paintings, and whatnot. 

     The food here is pretty traditional to that of a Chinese person. Not a big fan of Chinese food but this table probably appeals to most. 

     I absolutely adore this area. The bamboo shoots provide a feeling of a serene environment as your mind and body reaches equanimity and tranquility. However, I do think that this resembles the stereotypical Chinese pond. 

      Prepare yourself for the waterfall, possibly the funnest fun you'll ever have experienced in a long time! The sunset is also quite emblematic to Chinese New Year (and the fireworks as well!).

     The waterfall slide would be considered a pretty unique slide in Animal Jam. The fact that you don't see the slide makes it different from other slides. I have to say I was caught by surprise when my animal randomly slid down the waterfall!

     The bottom of the waterfall again brings an area of calmness and composure. What a great place to meditate. 

     Last but not least, the night sky of this party is undeniably glorious. At times, you can catch a plethora of fireworks in the sky, granting a show anyone would die for. 

      I personally think this is one of the better parties. Even the music is somewhat iconic to the Chinese culture. Note that you must be a monkey to attend the party (it's the year of the monkey). Anyways, happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrate it. 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - Bounce House Party

      The Bounce Horse Party is a great way to hop your way to happiness! It was amazing effects and cool items for sale. The Bounce House Party will promise you joy and delight! 

      Let's start off with the first coolest thing–you don't need to 'hop' to actually bounce. The bounce house forces you to jump, no matter what animal! Gee, it's pretty fun!

       Then there's the shop, which sells inflatable-looking items. There's the inflatable lamps, sofas, and some others. You can change the colour of the items too. Mind you that they DO NOT make you hop when you place it in your den (such a shame). 

      Next, there's the slides. They're pretty boring though, mainly because they are very short, and you can't extract much fun from them. Oh well... They also do not make you hop when you go on one. That would be just strange... and fun at the same time! 

     The last–and the most boring–part of the party are just the relaxation areas. There are some inflatable couches to sit on. Here, just chill and loosen up.

     In conclusion, the party is pretty fun–for the first 5 minutes. Trust me, when I was done taking all these pictures, it was getting pretty boring and tame. But what do you expect? All Animal Jam parties keep you busy for 3-5 minutes and then becomes uninteresting. 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - New Year's Party 2015

     Every new year, Animal Jam hosts a New Year's Party. And every year, it's almost the same, except the items are a bit different. The cold icy snow fort hosts the New Year's party. With fun slides, delectable foods, extravagant music, and beautiful landscape, this party will surely amuse you (and then you'll get bored after 5 minutes). 

     There are 2 slides at the party, a fun one, and a boring one. The icy coldness is sure to make you shiver! Be sure to wear a warm coat before going on. Trust me, it has the potential to freeze your butt! Wait, no it doesn't. Mind you that this is just a game.

     And of course, the "food"! Or you may call them clickables. These are able to spice up your time at the party on any day (no, not really)! There are 2 clickables–the lollipop and the cake. 

      Don't forget the music! The party may be there for you to look at, but your ears play a huge role too. The music is sure to cheer you up when you're feeling glum. Why not dance to this whimsical tune as you party with your friends? 

     Then there's the landscape. Such a beautiful sky to look at. Also, a secret hidden castle. Too bad Animal Jam did not allow us to explore it. Who knows who's inside it? Is it haunted? Even though you can't do THAT, you can stare up at the starry skies. The bright and loud fireworks are there flashing before your eyes. With an assortment of fireworks, there's no wonder that the New Year's Party IS the place to be! 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - BETA Party

     Yes, it's the newest party: The BETA Party! And Jammers far and wide are going to the BETA Party, and for what? For BETAs, of course! Well, I hate to break it to you, but there are no BETAs at the party. None. Zip. Nada. Nothing. What's cool about this party is that you can relive the BETA days. The BETA Party's party room is the BETA den. The BETA den was quite big with 3 floors and an outside. Now, non-members only get the super tiny den, which is kinda sad considering that it was better in the BETA days. Anyways, I'll just go straight ahead and tell you what you can buy in the shop:

Now, these items are even BETA! Animal Jam just made a new item and put BETA in front of the name. Kinda cheap, if you ask me. So don't go shopping in this place for BETAs. 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - Play-as-your-Pet Party

     The new Animal Jam Play-as-your-Pet Party has caused an uproar! This new party is by far the most unique party ever. Why? Because you get to play as your pet! Your pet gets 2 moves: dance and play. You can also switch pets during the party. It's good if you have a flying pet (such as hummingbird, owl, butterfly, or bat), and you can access a secret shop at the top of the party, where you can even buy a mini car for your pet! All the items in this party is non-member except for the Pet Table and Pet Chair. 

                   

Animal Jam - (Parties) - Penguins Only Party

     The Penguins Only Party is a cold icy party, and has a landscape similar to the one like Mt. Shiveer. You can buy 7 items there, such as: Penguin Flag, Ice Couch, Penguin Mat, Igloo Pet House, and of course, the party music, Chillin' Out. There are 2 carrying items, which are the snow come and the hot air balloon. The design is like a iceberg, and at the peak, you can make your penguin freeze up. The are 2 big slides, and 1 slide leads to a pool, whereas if you froze your penguin, the ice will randomly fall off. The clouds at the top look fake, but wispy. The sky is clear blue. Also, at the bottom of the party, there are some tiny icebergs drifting apart from the large one. I have to say that the Penguins Only Party is a paradise for all penguins! 

Animal Jam - (Parties) - Summer Carnival

     The Summer Carnival is a limited time only party. It comes once every year in Summer. The party lasts about 3 months. You can make cotton candy, and if you make the cotton candy's colours black, white, then black again, it will appear as a phantom! At the center of the party, there is a treasure chest, a big bag, a crate, and a large box. I wonder what's in it. You can also earn tickets by playing the games featured there. The cost of one game is 5 gems. Games include Candy Catch, Whack-a-Phantom, Carnival Darts, and Phantom Ball. It's really slow when you play the games, so you can just buy tickets with your gems if you want one of the items there. You can also see a stand where you can print and colour pictures. You can win clothing or den items. There are many big plushies, which is for members only. Non-members can access the mini plushies and the Bundle of Balloons. The music to the Summer Carnival is unknown.
